“Cyn’s program has given me the courage to move forward in this new life of retirement.”

What makes the process effective for me is it’s broken down into bits and pieces, and mini habits. And those mini-habits are built upon other mini-habits.

I’m a true believer in incremental change and incremental improvement.

Now I have a nice basis for why I will retire.

I want to share a quick snippet about Sue, an energetic, creative, get-things-done kinda woman.

Sure, before joining Rewire My Retirement, Sue already had her share of ambitious projects.

Even as a “pre-retiree,” she had her hands in so many pots outside of work.

Including writing a memoir book.

Yet… even with several interests, connections, and project ideas, she had a bit of anxiety and fear about entering retirement.

Her main issue?

As with most of her personal projects, while writing her book, she reached a roadblock about 75% of the way through.

(Of course, while at work, NO deadlines were ever missed.)

The deeper issue?

She lacked clarity.

Clarity on her post-career pathway, and how it would all play out.

Clarity on how she’d continue to fulfill her purpose.

And clarity on her identity in this new phase.

This might sound strange, but this lack of clarity impacted the completion of her book (among other things, naturally).

So what happened after joining Rewire My Retirement?

First, Sue gained that clarity.

She became clear on what she wanted to pursue, and in what order she wanted to prioritize it.

She became clear on how to both set and achieve her personal deadlines.

With this clarity, comes a very powerful behavior change

Sue not only surpassed her 75% completion mark (her book is already in the hands of beta readers) – but she also unlocked TWO more books from inside her.

More importantly, she slowly shed her fear of retiring.

It’s clear there’s a LOT more creativity, storytelling, dancing, traveling, and impact-making in Sue’s future.

This is only the beginning…

After working with so many amazing people transitioning into retirement, I have found that the “unknown” of retirement – a wide open schedule to pursue ANY activity – can be overwhelming to the point of paralysis.

And, of course, pesky procrastination.

Why?

That “freedom” of retirement tends to not feel “free” for very long.

Instead, it feels, well, frightening.

Which stops you right smack dab in the middle of your tracks.

Once you find clarity, though, the foundation for true fulfillment is secured.

Your next job is to then follow the oh-so-reliable “consistent micro-stepping” method.

(If you’re familiar with my content, you know my persistent affection toward consistent micro-steps.)

And after consistent micro-stepping is rewired into your system, the magic is unleashed…

I’m a firm believer that YOU have unique gifts to share with the world to make it a better place.
