“For the first time in my life, I’m living in the present.”
Through the program, I developed positive daily habits of focusing on myself, my growth, my passions, and my core values.
And now my retirement is aligned with it.
Before joining Rewire My Retirement, Steve was an Executive Director whose identity was closely tied to his professional career.
So much so that he tried retiring once before. It didn’t quite work out as he planned, so he headed back into the workforce.
What happened?
Steve couldn’t comfortably find meaning in this new phase of retirement.
He wasn’t quite sure where to channel his role as “change agent” and how to find a sense of accomplishment, which was such a significant part of being an Executive Director.
After all, being an Executive Director was what Steve knew best.
So, of course, when it came time to retire (again), he had some anxiety about it.
Steve knew, though, that deep down there was an authentic version of himself – which, by the way, anyone’s authentic self is their BEST self – that he wanted to reconnect with.
And so he followed his gut, took a leap of faith, and joined Rewire My Retirement before officially retiring a second time.
What happened this time?
Steve went through my program, found clarity, learned the foolproof Rewire Method, and great growth began to happen.
This was the exact challenging work that Steve was looking for. The kind of growth work that makes you dig deep into who you really are, and what you really want, so you can:
- Make your best contributions
- Accomplish more
- Share your unique gifts
- Help others
And simply live in the present, while you’re making a difference.
For someone who was afraid he wasn’t going to continue growing, Steve has accomplished quite a bit straight out of the gate.
As he transitioned into retirement, he set himself up with a range of meaningful activities like:
- Spearheading a coaching chapter
- Serving on a non-profit board
- Mentoring local MBA students
- Gardening
- Cooking
- Exercising at the gym 5x a week
And most importantly, working hard on his marriage – it’s very important to Steve to reconnect with his wife of 37 years as he enters this new phase of life.
Of course, this is just the beginning of Steve’s retirement journey and there’s so much growth that lies ahead.
All he needed was the right system in place to help him find clarity, nurture his authentic self, and achieve his biggest goals and dreams.
If you’re ready to conquer your biggest dreams and goals, I’m here for you.
