“It’s amazing. You can call it a coincidence, but I’m not sure about that.”
Rewire My Retirement taught me how to rely on the process each day. Rather than looking at the progress of the big picture, I learned how to focus on today’s picture – which makes a big difference.
I completed a 19-page business plan by the end. There’s more order and fewer distractions. It’s so comprehensive with all the different parts that we need to address as we retire.

If you’re teetering the space between surviving and thriving, I want to quickly share Brad’s story with you.
Like many of you, Brad led a robust, active career and spent the majority of his years being busy with work.
And if you have kids of your own, you’ll recognize the balancing act that Brad and his wife experienced for a few decades while raising their two daughters alongside their careers.
But because Brad was financially prepared for retirement, like most hardworking employees are, entering retirement wasn’t the scariest scenario for him.
In fact, he had a general idea about his personal interests and he was looking forward to that sense of relief, where all that work pressure is gone.
Heck, Brad even knew he wanted to retire to something.
(Which is a bit more insightful and wise than the average retiree.)
Yet... there was still something missing.
Before Brad joined our Rewire My Retirement signature program, he started his “free” days with a bit of a void.
The kind that makes you think:
- “Well, I have nothing to complain about” or…
- “Compared to a lot of people, I have it pretty good”
And it’s not as if Brad was suffering from any major bouts of depression or anxiety.
Which allows thoughts like these to creep in:
- “If this is is all there is, maybe I should just be happy with what I have” or…
- “All I need is an attitude shift and I’ll be fine”
- Or the worst, “I’m too old to do anything like that anymore. That stuff is behind me.”
Let me tell you, while this may seem like an innocent reasoning process for staying in your comfort zone…
The long-term effects of selling yourself short, limiting your personal growth, and cutting off your potential is not OK.
Simply put: You are designed to grow.
Humans – at every life stage – crave new challenges, changes, experiences, and learning.
Convincing yourself otherwise, is one of the quickest paths to a sedentary lifestyle, which takes a toll on both your physical and mental health.
So how did the Rewire My Retirement program impact Brad?
As soon as he started working program, he quickly reconnected with his growth mindset and found some much-needed clarity.
He learned how to navigate all his conscious and unconscious thoughts, whittle it down to the most important ones, and focus on his authentic desires, skills, and ambitions.
In more concrete terms, here’s what immediately happened after 3 months of Rewire My Retirement. Brad:
- Found clarity and focus, and started to structure his days around meaningful actions
- Put together a dream team for his two passion projects working to solve food systems
- Completed a 19-page business plan
- Spearheaded designs for portable hydroponic, aeroponic, and soil systems
- Kickstarted his health regimen for both his diet and exercise routines
- Cut out daily time sinks and distractions that stole away his energy
- Has a daily system in place that he can use for the rest of his life on his top priorities
My point of sharing Brad’s story is this:
When you focus on personal growth, you thrust yourself into thriving mode, and unlock magical ways of helping both yourself and others.
